These days all we seem to see on the internet is people selling stuff. Whatever it may be we see network marketers out there pumping up how great whatever it is they have, and try to sell the product over and over again. While this may work some of the time, it is not what is going to work especially in this day and age.
We all use the internet to source information on whatever given detail it is we want at the time. It seems alot of time these days is spent on Facebook, Myspace or Twitter, or we are simply trying to educate ourselves on whatever it is we are browsing for.
When you are looking for ways to attract leads to your website, and you might whack into the google search bar “how do i get leads to my site” for example……Then you will find you are bombarded by results on some awesome software, or someone claiming they can give you free leads or cheap leads directly to your inbox……Its not what you want you are looking for information on how to get leads, not wanting to be sold on some crappy scheme to buy leads, that you don’t know where the hell they have come from. There is a clever quote which goes like this:

Ok, now you will realise people want a solution to their problem, and that’s it that is all they want. People are less likely to be attracted to you if you come right out of the gate selling the drill, but if you provide quality information on how to make a hole, but incorporate the drill sale into your information it becomes a whole different story, I hope you can see where I am going with this.
People love the solution more than the obvious decision of buying the drill. Most people will realise they probably need a drill anyway, but are way more attracted to information about making a hole.
So I know this sounds really, really basic, but believe me it has transformed my business like you would not believe. As the amature that I was I started my marketing career coming out trying to sell the drill, now I give people the solution to making the hole, I then earn their respect, and I end up selling the drill too.
